Givme5

During the last 10 years, the donation of blood by the inhabitants of the city of N.Y.C has suffered a significant decrease, due to the lack of information about how blood donation processes are carried out and the myths, benefits/risks they bring to human health.

This motivated the Office of the Mayor of New York City to implement a new digital strategy, for the development of creating the highly successful initiative called "Givme5”, which informed the community about the blood donation process.

I guided the design teams during the processes of creative development and digital design for the "Givme5” website; identifying personas, synthesizing findings, determining site usability and improving interfaces.
